Ditch Cover Steel Grating

Ditch cover steel grating is a professional grating used for covering the cap or ditch. Because of that, the ditch cover steel grating always bearing by it’s cross bar, which is different from other types of steel grating.

There are mainly three types of ditch cover steel grating:

1. GM type-borehole cover of steel grating

   This type of steel grating has four anchors, when it is embedded in cement it’s appearance like a letter “M”.

   Regular size :

   Cover plate height 50 mm.

   Borehole size 300mmx400mm.

   Installation notes :

   a. The support surface of borehole cover must be smooth and solid, and as close as possible to the frame.

   b. Anchors must be firmly embeded in cement or bitumen layer.

   2. GT type-ditch cover of steel grating used for side ditch and transverse ditch.

   This type of steel grating used for covering side ditch and transverse ditch like a letter “T”.

   Regular size :

   Cover plate height 25 mm.

   Ditch clear width 150 mm.

   Installation notes :

   a.The anchors of frame must be firmly embedded in cement layer.

   b.The supporting surface on the opposite sides of ditch must be smooth and solid.

   3. Type U-Ditch cover of steel grating used for U type ditch.

   Regular size :

   Cover plate height 32 mm.

   Ditch clear width 450 mm.
