There are two ways about steel grating installating: welding or using installation fastener. For permanent and non-removed installations, steel gratings are tack-welded to supporting steel. As for the location for welding, please see the scheme below. At the four corners of panel, the first bearing bar is tack-welded to the support member with fillet weld of 3mm min in height and 20mm min in length. Shuangyi installation fasteners are avaliable, which have such advantages as not destroying zinc coat and easy removing. Each panel should use at least four installation fasteners, and a few more fasteners are preferably used to fix to the available support members for the larger panel.
Three types of installation fastener:
Type A: comprising of a top fastener with double saddle, a lower fastener with teeth and an M8 inner-hexagon-circular-stud bolt.
Type B: comprising of a top fastener with double saddle (of which one saddle can secure the two bearing bars of adjacent gratings), a lower fastener with teeth and an M8 inner-circular-stud bolt.
Type C: comprising of a top fastener with double saddle, and an M8 hexagon-headed bolt which can be welded to the support member.
