We all know that, steel grating is made of low carbon steel. If we want the steel grating has longer life, we need to do some surface treatment for the grating. Now let’s have a look.
Hot Dipped Galvanizing:
The most common treatment on the market is hot dip galvanized steel grid plate suitable for outdoor or bad weather conditions under the environment. Because of the anti-rust and anti-corrosion ability of hot-dip galvanized steel grid, even in harsh environment, it can be used for 40 to 50 years. But the surface of hot dip galvanized steel grid will be slightly rough, zinc residue residue.
Cold Galvanizing:
Cold galvanizing is generally suitable for dry indoor use. Cold galvanize steel grating is smaller and more delicate than hot dip galvanized steel grating, and it has smooth coating as well as bright color. The whole cold galvanized steel grid plate has no zinc nodules and agglomerations. But cold galvanized treatment is easy to rust in damp.
Painting:
Painted steel grating is cheaper than hot dip galvanized steel grating. Painted steel grating can be sprayed into various colors on the surface, so it can be consistent with the color of the surrounding environment and customer requirements. It looks nice on the outside. But paint steel lattice rust layer is easy to fall, its anticorrosion and rust effect is not as good as hot dip galvanized steel lattice.
